Pure Stars

PURE STARS had its premiere screening at The Art Paper HQ on 3 March 2023. PURE STARS is a short film written and directed by Stanton Cornish-Ward, with assistant director Constance McDonald, featuring garments by Maroske Peech (Aus), Urte Kat (Lithuania), Boddypart (NZ) and Efukum (Lithuania). PURE STARS was shot over six days in October and November 2022 in Bulgaria and Lithuania. 

The Tamaki Makaurau premiere featured a luscious spread including Exhibit A gin, and East Imperial tonic, topped with freeze-dried F n Lemons and rose petals. At the event attendees were greeted with the scent of burning Aesop incense, and could have their hair braided by Eilish Dwyer and spritz with Aesop Rozu eau de parfum. Also joyously received were: drinks by Chia Sisters, Social, Pete’s Natural and Anew; and Bootleg Jerky.
